Usina Pindorama discloses production of sugar and ethanol in the season 2013/2014
After the closure of the 2013/2014 season on March 26 , Pindorama plant already accounts for the production of sugar and etanolgerados from the completion of grinding cane sugar. Approximately 778,000 tonnes of cane were esmagas being produced about 900 thousand bags of 50kg each sugar and more than 30 million liters of ethanol.
According to the chief secretary of the Cooperative , Roberto Carlos Santos , production has dropped compared to last year. " The industrial yield was lower , fell compared to last year, but was already planned ," he said .
Although agricultural production has approached the last harvest , which benefited about 800 thousand tons of sugarcane , the director highlights asdificuldades production secretary : " This is one of the problems we face , less product extracted , lower industrial output. It was expected because everything depends on some factors like the weather and the amount of sugarcane crushed , "he analyzed .
